Barbara McCallin

Specialist internal and urban displacement, customary land rights, the rights of indigenous land, property restitution and compensation in post-conflict situations, the mechanisms for resolving property disputes, human rights and humanitarian law. Has investigated mainly in West Africa, the Great Lakes region and the Balkans. It has also been busy advising on Afghanistan, the Philippines, Sri Lanka and Kenya territories.
