Anneke Smit

Lawyer, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law of the University of Windsor in Canada, has worked with section Immigration and Refugee Department of Justice Canada and non-governmental organizations and human rights organizations in the Balkans and the South Caucasus. His research interests include property rights, planning land use, rights of refugees, and post-conflict justice.

Human rights lawyer and peace activist Mennonite. It was one of the founders of Justapaz (Christian Center for Justice, Peace and Nonviolent Action).
