Territorial peace and land restitution
General description
This panel, which opens the debate on day two, seeks to ground the debate around the structural questions discussed on day one. We will examine the challenges, possibilities and reflections which emerge in particular contexts as a result of the launch of this policy. We will consider in greater depth the underlying potential of territorial dynamics – relationships, ways of life, strategies for strengthening roots to the land, solidarity and socio-cultural heritage, which connects or divides people – and which take on special relevance in terms of securing the sustainability of efforts towards building peace.
