Analysis of structural context: peace, public policies and land restitution
General description
This discussion opens the first day, examining the contexts in which land restitution policies are implemented in a more structural fashion. Thus we will look at the importance of analysing the land restitution process in relation to implementing, amongst other things, broader public policy processes, economic, social and political aspects, and the peace process, which have a direct and indirect influence on land restitution and, consequently, guarantees of holistic reparation for victims.
