Agrarian agreement, peace processes and land restitution
General Description:
In Colombia, in the context of the negotiations with the FARC and the national Government, much attention has been given to the Policy of Comprehensive Agrarian Reform, where it is affirmed that comprehensive development is a determining factor to propel regional integration and an equitable social and economic development of the country.
In this context, the panel seeks to broaden reflection about the direct and indirect consequences which the agreement may generate for the policy of restitution of land rights, highlighting the complementarities and challenges for the policy posed by the implementation of the Agreement.
