Conference objectives

General:

To foster a space for exchanging reflections as well as local, national and international experiences on contextual readings of land restitution processes and territorial rights, on the basis of Do No Harm and transitional justice approaches.

Specific:

1. To provoke debate and proposals on the relationship between public policies and development, agrarian, social and environmental policies, and land restitution processes and territorial rights of victims of the armed conflict.
2. To stimulate dialogue and reflections on the distinctive features and possibilities, present in land restitution contexts, in building relationships, social fabric and in identifying possible impacts thereof.
3. To share experiences of peacebuilding, resistance and asserting rights in the context of land restitution processes and territorial rights.
4. To examine the relationship between the land restitution process and peacebuilding in Colombia.
