TANIMBOCA NATURAL RESERVOIR: It is a protected area of forest with the specific aim of preserve and protect the wildlife of the Amazon. It is located 11 Km away from Leticia and offers its visitants varied ecotouristic activities and adventures such as: Tree Climbing, Canopy tours, kayak journey, expedition to the jungle and river, day and night trekking. Also, it offers lodging in tree houses, typical cabins, inns and restaurant service.

MUNDO AMAZONICO ECOLOGIC PARK: It is located in the 7km on the Leticia-Tarapacá road, only 15 minutes away from Leticia. There you can find the Amazon Botanic Garden and the Aquarium with different fish from the Amazon River. Also, in this park you can enjoy the taste of different tropical fruits of region and play typical games (bow, arrow & bowpipe) all in just one place. It also offers restaurant service. Marashá Natural Reserve, Peru

MARASHÁ NATURAL RESERVOIR: It is locatedin Peruvian soil, 30 minutes away from Leticia by traveling through the Amazon River. Marashá is a wildlife shelter that provides comfortable and pleasant lodging. It is ideal for both resting and practicing different activities such as fishing, kayak, and canopy. Also, day and night safari with sightseeing of wildlife fauna.

MAIKUCHINGA FOUNDATION: It is a NGO located in the Indigenous Reservation Mocagua, 1 hour 45 minutes away from Leticia by taking river boat and they have been working in the preservation of the Amazon biodiversity. The foundation has a rehabilitation center for primate victims of illegal traffic. In the same place, you can find a path where you can learn about amazon primate and directly support the work of this foundation. If you want to know an excellent local initiative along with the best wildlife fauna, you have to stop and visit Maikuchinga (History of Apes in Tikuna language)

NATÜTAMA FOUNDATION is located in Puerto Nariño. It is an NGO that aims to preserve the oral tradition and the ancestral knowledge of the amazon culture. There, you can go to the center of the environment interpretation where you can see The World under the Water, and all those mythical animals and stories that represent the amazon culture.

MAGÜTA MUSEUM is located in Bejamin Constant (Brasil) only 35 minutes away from Tabatinga by boat trip through the Amazon River. The Magüta museum has a vast collection of Ticuna objects exhibited in accordance with a regulation designed by the Ticuna indigenous people and since 1996 it is ruled by Ticuna Tribe General Council (TTGC)

ATALAYA DEL NORTE is a small town located in the bank of the Yavarí River also known as the borderline of the triple borderline Peru, Colombia and Brazil. Atalaya del Norte shows a considerable wealth in fauna and flora, and a meeting point for the Marubo, Mayruna, Matis, Kanamari and Matse indigenous people. There, you can visit ecologic paths and sales of ethnic craftwork.

*To know the place right across the Amazon River must hire tour that includes fluvial transport. Another option is to pay for the public and fluvial transportation companies across the Amazon River for the route Leticia – Puerto Nariño (Duration of trip: 2 hour aprox)
